Brian was born and raised in Pierre, South Dakota and graduated from T.F. Riggs High School in 2005. He then attended South Dakota State University for undergraduate training. From there he earned his doctor of dental surgery degree in June of 2013 from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. He elected to further his training by completing a one year general practice residency at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. While in Utah he discovered his true passion for endodontics and decided to persue specialty training. In July of 2014, he returned home to Pierre for one year of practice as a dentist. He then enrolled at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Misourri for a two year program to earn his certificate in endodontics and master's of science in dentistry. 

He enjoys spending time in the outdoors and there is no better place than Pierre as it has no shortage of outdoor recreation. Dr. Hermanson prioritizes time with his family, especially play time with his young sons, but also enjoys hunting, fishing, goning on runs with his 4 dogs and his most recent hobby of golf. When Dr. Hermanson is not enjoying the outdoors he can be found skating at the hockey rink. 

Paige is our office mananger as of July 2021. She moved to Pierre in May of 2019 to be with her husband. She has extensive management expierence in multiple different areas and enjoys being detail oriented in her job. She looks forward to the challenges that endodontic health presents and enjoys the variety of tasks through out her work days. 

 Paige is orginally from California and has moved around the United States for family and job oportunities. She loves to travel and has plans to visit many countries abroad as soon as possible. She enjoys bringing her sons and 4 dogs for hikes and camping trips. 

Heather started with Hermanson Endodontics November of 2021. Heather was raised in Murdo, SD for the majority of her life and now lives in Pierre with her husband, three kids and two dogs.

Heather graduated from LATC with a dental assisting degree and has previously worked mostly in the pediatics relm of dentistry, but has enjoyed being involved in the edodontics side.

When she is not working or traveling she enjoys spending time with her family camping the north western part of the US, boating on the Missiouri River and riding motorcycles with her husband and friends. 

Ryleigh is our newest addition to Hermanson Endodontics as of March 2026. Ryleigh was born in Pierre, but moved to Spearfish area in 2009 with her family. She then moved back to Pierre for her senior year of high school and was on the T.F. Riggs sideline and competitve cheer team. She enjoyed every moment her time in Pierre, before heading to Western Dakota Technical College with the Build Dakota Scholarship. She gratuated with honors in Dental Assisting.

She lived in Rapid City for a short period of time before moving to Belle Fourche to continue working in general dentistry. She moved back to Pierre to enjoy the journey of endodontics and to be closer to family!

She enjoys hiking, yoga, walks in the park, water activies on the river and spending time with family and friends.
